How do I join U3A Redlands?

A membership form can be downloaded from our Home site. The completed form plus payment can be taken to our office. Redlands U3A also requires a Release Discharge and Indemnity Form to be signed. The form is self explanatory and protects both the organization and the member in the case of litigation. Alternatively forms can be obtained from the U3A office prior to attending any classes.

How do I join a Class?

To join a class, you must be a current member of U3A Redlands. Contact the tutor prior to attending any class. Their contact details are in our Newsletter or available from the office.

How do I join a Computer Class?

FOR COMPUTER CLASSES, do not contact the tutor. There is a sign on day for all computer classes at the Office. This sign on day is advertised in the Newsletter and in the local paper. Please show your U3A membership card at the first class.

How much does a class cost?

The cost of the class will be explained by the tutor and is minimal.

How are the Classes Run?

The classes are run by volunteer members who give their time voluntarily. Classes are mainly conducted during the day and conducted in many venues throughout Redland City. The tutor will provide you with details on sign up.

When are the Classes Run?

Unless otherwise stated, all classes start during the first week of the school term. It is essential to contact a tutor before joining a class as it may be fully booked. When you attend the first class, please take your membership card.

How Can I Become a Volunteer Tutor?

Initially, contact the U3A Tutor Liaison Officer and provide a description of your proposed class. The Tutor Liaison Officer will guide you through the steps required. read more....

How is U3A Redlands managed?

U3A Redlands is a voluntary organization. The Management Committee is elected annually and operates under a constitution which is designed to cover the requirements of U3A.
